As-salamu alaikum, DFW! The crisp, beautiful autumn weather is finally here, and with it comes a fresh, exciting weekend! Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to slow down, connect with your community, and enjoy every moment. 🤲 Asking for Ease

Life inevitably comes with trials, big and small. Instead of solely wishing for the removal of the hardship, one of the most comforting teachings of the Prophet (peace be upon him) is to ask Allah for ease within the difficulty. The beautiful Du'a, "Allahumma la sahla illa ma ja'altahu sahla, wa anta taj'alu al hazna idha shi'ta sahla" (O Allah, there is no ease except that which You make easy, and You make the difficulty easy if You wish), reminds us that true relief and strength come directly from Him. It shifts our reliance entirely to the One who controls all things.

Do: This weekend, before tackling any task you're dreading—whether it's cleaning the house, a challenging conversation, or finishing a project—pause and sincerely recite this simple phrase: "Ya Allah, make this easy for me." Watch how the act of surrendering the difficulty to Him instantly lessens the burden on your heart.

Spend the morning in powerful Ibadah (worship) by praying Fajr in Jama’ah (congregation), followed by some great Suhbah (good company)—and, of course, plenty of delicious donuts! Spots are limited, so make sure to register online before the spiritual sugar rush begins.
