💭 FAITH REFLECTION — You Need Your People
Summer has a way of quietly pulling us apart. Schedules change, routines shift, and before you know it weeks have passed since you've really connected with your community. The group chat goes quiet. The Friday night hangouts slow down. Everyone gets busy and we end up going through our days more isolated than we'd like to admit.
The Prophet ﷺ described the bonds between believers in a way that should stop us in our tracks: "The believer to another believer is like a building — each part strengthening the other." (Bukhari & Muslim) And then he interlocked his fingers to show exactly what he meant. Not a loose association. Not a group chat we check occasionally. A structure where each person's presence actually holds someone else up.
That's what a real community does. It holds you up when you're struggling, grounds you when you're drifting, and reminds you of who you're supposed to be when the world is pulling you in every direction. The sister who gives you honest advice. The brother who checks on you without being asked. The mentor who has walked the road you're just starting on. These relationships are not extras they are part of the deen.

Who you surround yourself with matters. Not just for your mood or your motivation but for your Akhirah.
